‘The Critic’s Reckoning’: Galarneau cooks for you Jan. 15 at This Little Pig

I have 10 tickets to offer Four Bites fans to a dinner I’m cooking Jan. 15 at This Little Pig, in Clarence. Here’s how This Little Pig chef-owner Jeff Cooke described what to expect:

A once-in-a-lifetime chance enjoy the food and story telling of guest chef, food writer, critic and local cuisine advocate, Andrew Galarneau

This is going to be an absolute banger. Beloved (by many) Buffalo food writer, restaurant critic and local food advocate Andrew Galarneau will curate and prepare (with the assistance of Jeff and Phil) a multi-course meal inspired by his travels and experiences here at home. Be regaled with his stories and anecdotes from his many years as a journalist, food lover and cook as you enjoy the menu that represents him!

Will the critic’s food stand up to his own standards…and will he meet yours? Only those who join us for this perhaps once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will know for sure…but I can tell you this: He has been a respected friend to the restaurant industry and I know him to be a man of his word with impeccable integrity and taste. Find out for yourself!

There will be a curated cocktail and drink menu available by package or a la carte and come and join us starting at 5 p.m. for a cash bar cocktail hour. Dinner service promptly at 6 p.m.
